Calling All Crocheters!
Do you know how to crochet? If so, you can be part of a fun service project to share that skill with young people!
The Gloria Coles Flint Public Library is looking for people who crochet to help kids learn this skill. The program will take place on every Tuesday in April at 4 pm (that's April 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29). If you are interested, please reach out to Ann Marie Van Duyne.

Health and Welfare
We are sorry to share that longtime Rotarian Howard Shand passed away on December 23. His funeral was held on January 4. You may view his obituary here.
Bobby Mukkamala's son Deven has been posting periodic updates on his dad's health journey. The most recent post reads, "We are elated to announce that the tumor has been formally diagnosed as an IDH-mutant, grade 2 astrocytoma. This is exceptional news. Because the tumor is grade 2, we will be able to avoid chemotherapy and radiation for now and instead begin a newly approved and highly promising IDH-inhibitor treatment. This excellent diagnosis, along with the successful resection surgery, indicate a very favorable prognosis, and we are more optimistic now than ever. We have been deeply touched by the overwhelming love and support from our community, and we look forward to celebrating this welcome development with you soon." Please do not contact Bobby directly- well wishes and additional updates can be shared through his CaringBridge page.
